Group Fitness Classes

Nucleo Fitness also offers Group Fitness Classes. For boutique studios in Rapid City, we offer the most Group Fitness classes per week at all times during the day in a variety of formats. Our trained and certified instructors teach in our state-of-the-art studios to provide workouts that are fun, challenging, and effective.

In the Group Fitness classes, you will challenge your body, while still using many of the STOTT Pilates principles. No two classes are the same and designed for all levels of fitness.

Barre
Barre




Barre classes at Nucleo Fitness incorporate the continuous movement of a Barre class with our STOTT Pilates method. These classes connect the body and the mind while focusing on strength, flexibility, and dynamic stability of the entire body. The continuous flow connects the breath, and supports the body to produce tone without rigidity. Adding variety with props including stability barre, toning balls, flex bands, and mini stability balls keeps your muscles guessing.

Resistance Cross Training

We know keeping our muscles guessing and our minds open to new things is a great way to stay in shape and perform to our potential. With Resistance Cross Training we will do just that. No two classes will be the same. This class will incorporate Pilates principles while focusing on performance, strength, flexibility, core work, fast and slow, control and power while building cardiovascular endurance. Instructors will add variety with different equipment; TRX, Kettle Bells, Medicine Balls, Stability Balls, Balance Cushions, Resistance Bands, and various body weight exercises. All fitness levels welcome.

Cycling

Nucleo Fitness offers indoor cycling classes that are fun and motivational using invigorating music and visualization methods to produce effective results. Classes will include a variety of energy zones including: endurance, strength, and intervals. Each class will have maximum calorie burn while increasing metabolism. Classes accommodate all fitness levels. Clients are encouraged to adjust their resistance independently while instructors guide the class on fun terrains and drills to improve cardiovascular fitness. Cycling is a great cross training option for clients who participate in all programs at Nucleo Fitness.

Cycle/Strength
Cycle/Strength




Nucleo Fitness’s Cycle/Strength class will combine cardio and strength training into one class. While the legs may be the primary movers in an indoor cycling class, the core is the foundation that effects all movement, including the pedal stroke. Emphasis will be put on internal core strength, low back stability, overall hip strength, as well as arm-work to make this a full body one-stop-shop workout. All cyclist, and all fitness levels welcome.

Bring your friends to get it done on the weekend! This hour long class encourages participants to “go for the burn.” It may include Cardio, Jump Ropes, Kettle Bells, High Intensity Intervals, as well as Cycling. Anything goes in this class so - Get Ready! Truly a safe and effective total body workout!

Zumba
Zumba




Nucleo Fitness strives to offer the most well-rounded programs in Rapid City. We are excited to offer Zumba as another cardio option for clients. Zumba is a total body workout mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. This class is for all levels and will be a fun, energizing way to round out your fitness program.
